This gorgeous neighborhood features the notable Six Corners shopping area, the Portage Theatre, and the large park from which it gets its name – Portage Park. Portage Park has one of the largest Polish communities in the Chicago area. The Polish American Association, Polish Jesuit Millenium Center, and Polish Army Veterans Association all call Portage Park home.

The park itself is 36 acres and on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. It features multiple sports fields, an Olympic-sized swimming pool, a gymnasium, a cultural arts building, and a 3,000 sq. foot dog park. With multiple footpaths, pet parents can take their dogs on long strolls while never leaving their neighborhood!
