Although it was originally named for large numbers of goats raised in the neighborhood during the 19th century, you won’t find many goats in Bucktown these days. However, the primarily residential neighborhood is a great community for walking with your dog. Bucktown dog walkers will enjoy a nice mix of both older homes and new builds with edgy architecture. What most notably brings people to Bucktown is the fantastic shopping and dining throughout the neighborhood. The storefront-lined street of Damen is perfect for enjoying some window shopping while your dog is taking in the sights and sounds.
