Dogtoberfest may feel like a distant memory because we gathered to celebrate earlier this month but its greatness lingers on for us!
This intimate fundraiser took place on October 7 at One Tail at a Time’s adoption center, outside in their play yard. We served a delicious, vegetarian-friendly meal from The Radler and poured beers in custom OTAT mugs, sponsored by Rover-Time Dog Walking & Pet Sitting. A very well-deserved thank you goes out to our beer sponsor, Finch Brewing, for their generous donation.
Thank you for sharing some of Chicago’s best beer with us!
With our bellies full of big, fat sausages, pretzels, and a couple of craft beers, we kicked off fall in a really memorable way. The fundraiser was dog friendly, so many Rover-Time and OTAT friends and supporters came to enjoy a night out under the stars with their pups.
72 tickets were sold this year, which is a 44% increase from our inaugural Dogtoberfest in 2015. Together we raised $1,625 for One Tail at a Time in just a couple of hours’ time, which exceeded our goal of $1,500.
Finally, Team Rover-Time came out in force to help man the welcome table and bar for the event. We so appreciate the help and time Katie, Becky, Sam, and Zoe gave. Thank you ladies!
