As a pet parent, Liz approaches her canine subjects with an incredible amount of patience and understanding. That helps her to capture remarkably authentic photos of man’s best friend.

The efforts of no-kill shelters and spay + neuter programs have gone a long way to cut down on euthanization in this city, however, we still have much further to go.
