Building Community
Bringing pet parents together to do good and make a difference in Chicago.
Whether you are a doting pet parent or just a huge fan of all things animal-related, coming together to advocate and support each other creates community in our beautiful city. Through volunteerism, partnerships, and online awareness, we work hard to enhance the lives of all people, dogs, and cats. Here are just a few of the incredible organizations we appreciate most.
Places We Love
Rover-Time Collar Club
The Rover-Time Collar Club is an opportunity for folks to gather once a month at 9am in Horner Park for a COVID-safe, group dog walk together. These walks are an opportunity to meet other dog lovers, dog enthusiasts, and pet professionals. It’s a great way to socialize dogs or puppies and it will help dogs become the best that they can be by practicing and training obedience skills in public with their owners. Join us on June 19, July 24, and August 21. Membership rates available here!

Rover-Time's Donation Drive for CACC
Chicago Animal Care and Control (CACC) protects public safety and ensures the humane care of animals through sheltering, pet placement, education, and animal law enforcement. Since 2020, Rover-Time has donated over $10K in much-needed food and supplies to CACC.
One Tail at a Time
Rover-Time gave five years of associate board membership and was the top sponsor of their annual Houndstooth Gala for four years because we sincerely adore the people and passion found within this organization. One Tail at a Time has assisted with thousands of adoptions but that’s not all they’ve done. Check ’em out to learn more. Volunteer, Foster, and Save!
Chicagoland Rescue Intervention & Support Program
Chicagoland Rescue Intervention & Support Program, or CRISP, was created to provide owners and pets with thoughtful and loving alternatives to the shelter. In 2017, Rover-Time sponsored the design and development of CRISP’s first website so the organization could reach people and potential donors with ease. Follow their inspirational Facebook page to learn more about their upcoming events.
Tree House Humane Society
Tree House is an organization that promotes the inherent value of every animal and strives to educate the public about proper and responsible animal care, with a focus on the care and placement of stray cats with special physical and emotional needs.
Community Pet Day
Community Pet Days are hosted in underserved neighborhoods biannually in Chicago. At these events, Chicago Community Pet Coalition provides services such as microchipping and vaccinating pets, as well as supply flea and tick medication, spay/neuter vouchers, collars, leashes, harnesses, food, and other items to families who may have difficulty caring for their pets. Rover-Time has had the opportunity to volunteer at these events and it’s easily one of our favorite days of the year. To make a donation, click here.
