Home to one of the most striking intersections in the city, the Logan Square neighborhood is named for the square itself, which features a large public greenspace. The Illinois Centennial Monument resides at the center of the square and was built in 1918 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Illinois’ statehood. With new restaurants, bars and shops popping up all of the time, Logan Square is perfect for exploring and enjoying new experiences. The prominent historical boulevards lined with stately greystones and large bungalow-style homes provide a fantastic venue for Logan Square dog walkers. The public parks are a great place to take your dog to play and there are plenty of dog-friendly restaurants for when you are ready to rest.
